And a slideshow of several outfits included in the museum is here.

‘Dare to Be Bold’ show to help women’s shelter

August 13th, 2008, 9:33 am by Sam Mittelsteadt

A coalition of beauty and entertainment professionals called Beauty Behaviors will host a fashion show Sept. 13 to raise money for Chrysalis, a shelter for battered and abused women.

The “Dare to Be Bold” show at Six lounge and restaurant in Scottsdale will include live entertainment, silent auction, raffle and vendors. In an interesting twist, the fall fashions will be provided by Dress Barn. (I’m pretty sure that’ the first time I have ever put the words “Six lounge” and “Dress Barn” in the same sentence, but the store’s wares were featured in Glamour magazine this spring, so keep an open mind).

The group is still looking for sponsors and prize donations, too: More information is here.
