‘Runway’ injunction, what’s your function?

October 1st, 2008, 8:36 am · 1 Comment · posted by Sam Mittelsteadt

Last week’s court ruling that blocks the producers of “Project Runway” from moving the show from Bravo to Lifetime means … well, a lot of things, according to Jossip. The most important to you and me: Viewers might have to wait until NEXT fall for the next season.

But after this season, I have to wonder if it’s even worth watching.  After all, I’m already distracted by “Top Design,” “Tabatha’s Salon Takeover” (a hairstyling version of “Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares”) and this week “Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style.”

I watch all of the shows you spoke of! Did you watch Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style last night? The best line of the night for me is when Tim was discussing Meredith’s tank top/tube top sequined ensemble and said, “it’s like she is dressing up for some costume party…I just don’t want to know what the party is …& please don’t invite me”. Love it!
