Shoe Hot or Not: Speechless edition

You know how your mother said if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all? I am keeping my mouth shut about this shoe.
Oh, you knew that wouldn’t last too long, right?
See, I thought I had already found this week’s contender — the stripperific silver metallic Atlantis sandal at left by the awesomely named company Sizzle. Whoever bought this shoe would be just delusional enough to think, “I have purchased a classy evening sandal,” and yet the first two words that sprang into my head when I saw the photo were: “adult entertainer.” This is totally what you would see some porn star wearing with some sort of blousy, billowy, sheer white pirate-style top … and hot pants. Because these shoes would add that glamorous touch, you know?
And yet, I have to say: I like them better than the Iriana sandal by BCBG Girls, at top. The first one I saw was in a color called “Kiwi Punch,” which apparently meant “got punched in the stomach and got kind of nauseated-looking.” Another color was “Icy Foam,” which translates into “dirty water.” They were bad enough alone — but this Frankensteins the two colors, PLUS the copper from the Multi-Metallic Snake style and the terracotta from … no other shoe in the line. It looks like a spiderweb of scraps.
And so I declare Sizzle Atlantis this week’s sinnerwinner! Agree, or disagree? Cast your vote in the interactive poll below (you can even create your own choice if you wish).
And to upgrade the offer, leave a comment in the field below for a chance to win a “Soda Fountain” pack of scented shampoo/shower gel/bubble baths from Philosophy, which I picked up at the media event for the opening of their new store at Dana Park shopping center in Mesa. The scents: Barrels of Root Beer (mmmmm!), Cherry Cola (mmm!) and Fruit Punch (hey, did I mention root beer and cherry cola?). I’ll pick one winner from the entries posted by Friday, Sept. 12. Good luck! UPDATE: Congratulations to Jan, whose comment was chosen as the winner.

I love silver, but those Sizzle Atlantis are too Forty Deuce for me. As for BCBG, it is awful. If it were in a different color, then it would be tolerable. However, the colors chosen make me hope that I am color blind.

I like the silver shoe better than the other one but gosh, are the designers running out of ideas for shoes that are classy and not crazy?

Thank God you posted the stripperific shoes, because I was about to beg you for mercy, and to please post something undeniably hot!!!!

I really like the silver ones! But I would never wear them

Since when did designers start thinking that overkill was a requirement on a shoe? Nope to both!

I agree that the first ones look like Jellies! And the second definitely stripper-shoes!
