Fund-raising 20%-off Care Card goes on sale

July 25th, 2008, 4:23 pm · Post a Comment · posted by Sam Mittelsteadt

The Board of Visitors (the state’s oldest charitable organization) has begun selling its annual fund-raiser Care Cards, which earn buyers discounts of 20% at more than 400 Valley stores over a 10-day period in October. Money raised benefits Ryan House, which offers palliative care and end-of-life support for families with children who have life-limiting illnesses.

There are tons of clothing stores included, but the participating retailers include everything from Ace Hardware to Gallagher’s sports grills and Zen 32, one of my favorite sushi places in Phoenix. (The whole lists of stores is here.)

Participating stores will begin selling the cards Sept. 17 for $50, but you can order them online here now for $55.
