Bath Junkie store planned for Scottsdale

In case you’ve wondered why my scent of choice the past few days has been Snow Pick-Me-Up Cologne Spray by Demeter, it’s because I’ve gotten a whiff of things to come … in the shower, no less.
For my birthday, my friend Sharyn sent me a body wash from a store called Bath Junkie, which has a location in her city of Austin, Texas. And because she remembered that I also loved the smell of Demeter’s “Dirt” cologne, the sales staff recommended a fragrance they call “Eskimojo,” which blends the smells of … Snow, and Dirt. (The formula also has a little bit of shea butter, to leave skin moisturized.) So to continue on with Snow seems only natural.
I was so intrigued by the Arkansas-based company I went online to see where else they have stores and, lo and behold, there is a location planned in Scottsdale. I will persist. …
By the way, look soon for my article of a similar store that opened recently at Tempe Marketplace — the locally owned Splashadello lets you pick your scrub or lotion, your fragrance and any carrier oils, and they combine it right in front of you.
