Great Stuff 5-11-08: Last-minute Mother’s Day ideasMay 9th, 2008, 1:28 pm by Sam MittelsteadtYou DID remember it’s Mother’s Day, right? My problem is that I always remember it from a planning point of view … but then Tuesday or Wednesday rolls around and — what the?! Why is that box still sitting on my couch waiting to be mailed? Dominique says when she first saw Saleisha during the previous cycle, she knew she would win. “I guess you could say I’m the Saleisha of this competition,” she adds. If by that she means both appeared on “America’s Next Top Model” and then never heard from again, she might be right! About that whole victory thing … not so much. I don’t know if it’s such a good idea to give away the brand of the shoe right there in the headline — I mean, some people are going to be swayed by its pedigree and not its appearance.
