I would kill myself wearing them, but I do like them. I think it might be the height of the wedge on these that makes them look a little Frankenstein, but the design on them is very artistic which makes them a HOT!

I’m definitely in the “these look franken-clunky” camp. The stained-glass look is cool, but just too much on these shoes. And the strap color is just unappealing to me.

I like the pattern on the heel–I think the strap does nothing to complement the colors on the heel. The strap is rather blase in comparison. I think I would like the shoe if the strap were a dark burgundy color to pick up the dark burgundy/wood color in the heel.

I understand your Frankenstein’s monster comment, especially since I am not a fan of wedges. However, I really like the artistry of this shoe. I like the Frank Lloyd Wright colors and “stained-glass-style pattern.” Final thought=$650, are you serious…forget that I would rather buy Louboutin.

I think these are adorable!! The entire time I was reading your take on it, I kept having to scroll back up to look at the shoes again, and I liked them morre every single time I peeked. Now, I can understand what you’re saying, but if I have lots of money to blow, I really would consider getting a pair of these. And yes, I’m short! ;o)
