Stein Mart opening event in Queen Creek benefits local schools

The grand opening of the East Valley’s newest Stein Mart store, in Queen Creek, is scheduled for May 1 but savvy shoppers can get a sneak peek two days early, getting first chance to buy while also raising money for the Queen Creek Schools Education Foundation.
Tickets to the event are $10, and will be available at the door of the store — 21198 S. Ellsworth Loop Road. The event runs 6 to 8 p.m., and includes hors d’oeuvres, door prizes and “a special gift for attending the event” (aka: goodie bag!). Information: (480) 987-7482.
