Congratulations to Mike Norling of Phoenix, whose name was drawn as the winner of the product giveaway associated with this article. (Norling said he entered “for the lady in my life,” so maybe the congratulations should go to her, instead.)

If Arizona State University students don’t have great skin, it’s their own fault: Earlier this month, skin care company Kiehl’s erected a “pop-up shop” on campus to promote their line of face and body care products, which despite being sold in stores like Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, is relatively affordable. And then C.O. Bigelow, another apothecary-rooted line with an even better price point, will bring an Airstream trailer loaded with products to the Student Recreation Complex fields for sampling and free products.

The trailer was on site while most of us were at work, but Bigelow products are sold at Bath & Body Works stores in most malls. Here’s a sampling of your own: some of their best-selling products.

MENTHA LIP TINTS: As a guy, I stick to Bigelow’s matte-but-minty Mentha Lip Balm. But women — and, I suppose, any gloss-philic men out there — can opt for any of the seven Mentha Lip Tints ($7.50), which contain the same 2 percent peppermint oil as the balm to tingle lips and freshen breath, but add polybutene to create a thick but not sticky shine and a hint of color, from coral to violet. Looking for clear shine? Bigelow also sells tubes of Mentha Lip Shine and a super-minty Ultra Mentha Lip Shine for the same price.

LEMON BODY LINE: The formulation behind Lemon Body Lotion ($19.50) and Body Cream ($19.50-$49) has been around since 1870, designed to brighten and nourish skin with more than 4 percent lemon oil and extracts. And the line has expanded to include Hand Wash ($12) and Treatment ($16) and Cream Body Wash ($16), which has nearly twice the lemoniciousness (7.2 percent, to be exact). But the scent is nowhere near Pledge territory — it’s a creamy but true citrus.
