Scottsdale skin care store and day spa Glam Lounge is offering deals on facials and bikini waxes to get your bits ready for Valentine’s Day.

From Feb. 1 through Feb. 14, book a Sonya Dakar Fitness Facial ($110) and automatically get upgraded to a Signature Facial ($185), which includes a green tea peel. And designer bikini waxes in six shapes — including a heart — will cost the same as a regular wax ($35).

(Waxing references always make me think of this music video, for the Norman Cook remix of Markus Nikolai’s “Bushes,” in which the director apparently convinced a waxer’s customers to let cameras record their reactions [from the waist UP] to the big rip.)

The pants: The same ones I wore Tuesday and Wednesday, only in olive drab (Old Navy, which my friend James refers to as “Old Slave-y”)

The scent: Odeur 53 by Comme des Garçons, named for the 53 nontraditional fragrance notes (Christmas gift from my friends, who found it in Washington, D.C.)
