Shoe Hot or Not: “Workplace classic” edition

OK, I recognize that this shoe, the “Garnera” pump in black, is not hot.

Neither is this shoe, the dark brown version.
But what about …
… in camel?

In a lighter color, the stitching/detailing actually looks sort of attractive to me. As does the wide-tab stacked wood heel. I can see wearing these with some opaque hosiery and a wool skirt — well, not ME wearing them, but you know what I meant. As far as “workplace classics” shoes go, these are actually pretty sassy. They’re $70 at Aldo (they’ve already knocked an additional $10 off the dark brown monstrosities.)
What do you think? Is this shoe hot, or not? Leave your comments below by Friday, Jan. 4, to be entered for the chance to win this week’s prize: Refreshing Body Sprays from Victoria’s Secret Beauty in Amber Romance and Pear Glace fragrances. Please note: If the spam filter tells you your math is bad, shoot me an e-mail to let me know it’s still giving you trouble and include your comments, too. I’ll make sure you’re still in the running.
My other favorite thing about this shoe is that Aldo’s web site includes a segment that suggests other shoes that might be to your liking. I’m not sure how they figured out that someone who liked this shoe would also be attracted to …

Talk about a split personality! Sensible for day, studded Dr. Scholl’s mule for night, hot pink stripper stilettos for evening.

I have to say this week the only show that warms my cold freezing bones a smidge is the studded Dr. Scholl’s mules. The office ones…I’d have to pass on those. The hot pink ones? My feet ache looking at them.

Not Hot. Nice shoe for a retired nun perhaps.

Not hot. The leather looks cheap and the heel just confirms that it’s a mall shoe. Sorry.
