Diva goes to the dogs

Scottsdale plus-size boutique Diva will host its second annual fall luncheon and fashion show beginning 11:30 a.m. Oct. 27 at Veneto Trattoria, the Italian restaurant that’s also in Hilton Village shopping center, 6137 N. Scottsdale Road.
The $25 admission includes lunch and a $15 coupon for use at Diva, which sells clothing in sizes 14-24. There will also be door prizes and a drawing for $200 worth of clothing. Proceeds go to the no-kill shelter Animals Benefit Club of Arizona … which explains why Mackie’s Parlour, another store in the shopping center, will have matching fashions for dogs on the runway.
