Yuck. Provincial. Not even attractive as a slipper. I don’t know anyone (including my most fashionable friends) who could pull THIS one off. Yuck. Have I mentioned Yuck?

the shoes are workable, they would do well with some dark denim vintage (think Jackie O) capri pants. i think the shoes would show dust/dirt easily though, you’d have to be careful with them.

Black ballet flats are boring and pedestrian and EVERYONE was wearing them last year. I think this shoe is an interesting alternative, although I have to see them on someone to decide. I admit, though, that if they were red they’d look a lot like the shoes found on Santa’s Helpers at the mall during the Christmas season.
