I consider Fergie a guilty pleasure. Is she a "talented artist"? Uh, probably not, but that doesn’t mean that stupid "London Bridge" didn’t get stuck in everybody’s heads for months. Same with her vocals — I hesitate to categorize it as rapping or singing, either — on "My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas.

Alanis Morissette’s version is kind of awesome, though. Not on its own, but in a meta-way: It makes you think about what you’ve been subjecting yourself to all this time without realizing it.Homage or parody? Does it matter?
